Searches for Party Mykonos usually mean one of two things: an island trip that is already booked, or a private evening with a few guests that has to happen somewhere. We can only help with the second, and only in Athens. We do not operate on Mykonos or on any other island, and we do not arrange events. What we do arrange is adult company in Athens and Attica for evenings that involve more than one person, and the practical questions that come with that depend almost entirely on the kind of space you are in. The hotel suite
A suite is the simplest option and the one most groups end up using. Large properties in the centre and along the Syngrou corridor have movement in the lobby all evening, so arrivals attract no attention, and Syngrou is only 10 to 15 minutes from the centre outside peak hours. The limits are the hotel’s, not ours: many properties cap the number of non-registered guests in a room, some charge for additional visitors, and some simply do not allow it. Ask the front desk directly, before the night rather than during it, and get the answer in writing. Nothing spoils an evening faster than an argument at reception at 1am.
The private apartment in the centre
Kolonaki, Syntagma and Plaka form one walkable block, which is why a flat in that triangle works so well for a small gathering: guests can arrive on foot from dinner, and nobody needs to coordinate cars. What a flat demands in return is a working entrance. Say in advance whether the buzzer works, which floor you are on and whether there is a lift, and appoint one person to answer the phone. In a building full of neighbours, the volume and the stairwell traffic are the two things worth thinking about before anything else.
The rooftop terrace
Roof terraces are the natural Athens summer space and they change the shape of an evening. They are semi-public: sound travels, and neighbouring buildings look straight in. That makes a terrace excellent for the social part of the night, drinks and conversation with a view of the city, and unsuitable as the whole of it. Plan for the evening to move indoors at some point and say so when you book, because it affects how long people are asked to stay.
A house on the coast, June to September
From June to September the entire social life of Athens shifts south, and rented houses in Glyfada, Voula and Vouliagmeni take over from apartments in the centre. Those areas are 25 to 40 minutes out, which is the single most important planning fact about them: the travel time is real, it is one-way, and it applies to every person arriving separately. Coastal bookings are therefore usually longer blocks rather than short ones, and August is the tightest month of the year for availability anywhere in Attica. Ask early.
The restaurant or bar part of the night
Many evenings start in public and finish privately. Company for the public part is booked the same way as anything else, for a set length of time, and it is worth being clear about which part of the night you are asking for. If the table is in the northern suburbs, remember that Kifisia, Marousi and Chalandri are 20 to 30 minutes away and run on an earlier clock than the centre or the coast; dinner starts sooner there and the evening finishes sooner too.
Who pays the venue
Venue costs belong to the venue. Table minimums, bottle service, corkage, terrace hire, cleaning deposits and extra-guest charges are all set by whoever owns the room, and they should be requested from them in writing before the date. We never quote them and we never collect them. If a room is needed and you do not already have one, that is a separate line item arranged separately from the booking itself.
When more than one guest is present
This is the part that has to be settled in the first message, not on the night. Say how many people will be in the space, whether they are all men, and whether any of them are also booking. Company is arranged per person and per agreed length of time; nobody is shared between guests and nothing is arranged on the assumption that the group will work it out later. If two of you want company, that is two bookings, described as such from the start.
What to send when you enquire
- The area and the type of space: suite, apartment, terrace, coastal house.
- The date, the start time and the length you want.
- The number of people who will be present and how many bookings you are asking for.
- Whether the evening includes a public part, and where.
- Any preference you have, phrased as a question about who is available that night.
Boundaries and the clock
Everything agreed in writing holds; nothing is renegotiated at the door, and every person arriving is an adult professional who may decline anything that was not discussed in advance. On timing, Athens runs late: 10pm to 1am is the weeknight norm and Friday and Saturday shift about two hours later. A group booking placed for 8pm on a Saturday cuts across the grain of the city and is the hardest kind of request to fill at short notice.
