Eastern European presence on Athens rosters has been steady for many years and fluctuates with things that have nothing to do with this trade: work permits, seasonal employment, family circumstances, and where people happen to be living in a given year. The result is a category that is well populated most of the time and occasionally thin, with no warning either way.
What this means for you is that availability answers have a short shelf life. Something that was true a month ago may not be true this week, in either direction. Ask about now rather than assuming from a previous experience, and ask the office rather than inferring from what a page displays.
The roster page is kept current, but a profile being visible confirms that someone works through the agency, not that she is free on Thursday. Those are separate questions and only the second one matters when you are trying to arrange something.
Language levels and how to treat them
Russian and Ukrainian are the first languages in this part of the roster. English ranges from fluent to basic and is listed honestly on each profile, with a distinction drawn between conversational and fluent because the two are not the same thing across four hours at a dinner table. Greek is less common and, where present, is usually functional rather than fluent, since it is a hard language to acquire as an adult.
If English matters to you, treat it as a hard requirement in your enquiry and it will be answered precisely. If you speak Russian yourself, say so, because it changes which suggestions make sense and it substantially widens what is available to you.
The office as intermediary
Everything of substance is agreed through the office in advance, which removes the language question from the moment it would otherwise be most awkward. You never have to explain a preference in a second language to somebody standing in a doorway. It is agreed beforehand, in writing, and it is understood before anyone travels.
Notice, minimums and the shape of an evening
Same-day bookings work in central Athens more often than not, especially in the afternoon and early evening. What they do not give you is choice. If you want a particular person, twenty-four hours is the realistic figure, and forty-eight is comfortable for a weekend.
Minimum length is one hour centrally and two hours for the outer suburbs and the airport. A two-hour booking is a genuinely different thing from two consecutive one-hour bookings, and most people who have done both prefer the former by a distance, because the first twenty minutes of any appointment are spent arriving at ease rather than doing anything else.
Anything longer than about three hours should be treated as a planned evening rather than an appointment. That means agreeing where it starts, whether food is involved, and when it ends, all before the day.
Athens geography and what it does to the clock
Distances in Athens are short and journey times are not. From the centre to Glyfada is around twenty-five minutes with clear roads and closer to fifty between five and eight in the evening. Vouliagmeni adds another 15. Kifisia and Marousi in the north behave similarly on the Kifisias axis. The airport is thirty-five to forty-five minutes by the toll road and considerably worse if there is an incident on it.
That is the whole explanation for the two-hour minimum outside the centre. It is not a device to raise the average booking value. A one-hour appointment in Voula costs somebody three hours of their evening, and nobody sensible accepts that.
Piraeus
Piraeus is a special case because of ferry timings. Around a major arrival or departure the roads near the port become unusable for half an hour at a time. If your booking is tied to a sailing, give the office the ferry time rather than only the appointment time.
Payment: cash, at the start, no adjustments
Rates begin around 120 to 150 EUR per hour and the individual figure appears on each profile. Longer arrangements are priced as a whole. A dinner date, an evening or an overnight carries one agreed number rather than an hourly rate multiplied by the hours.
Cash, at the beginning, in the agreed amount. The figure is settled when the booking is confirmed and it does not move for any reason afterwards. There are no travel supplements for standard Athens areas, no additions at the door, and nothing further expected at the end.
Deposits are asked for in three cases only: overnight arrangements, travel to Mykonos, and dates in high demand where holding your slot means declining others. A deposit is deducted from the total rather than added to it.
Longer arrangements and travel
Overnight bookings need defined edges to work properly. An agreed end time in the morning, a decision about breakfast, and clarity about whose room it is. These sound trivial and they are the things that go wrong when they are left unspoken.
Travel to Mykonos is arranged during the season and is planned days rather than hours ahead, because flights or ferries and accommodation are booked in advance and are not refundable. A deposit is standard for that reason. The agency operates in Athens and on Mykonos only, and requests to travel anywhere else are declined rather than passed to a third party.
One further practical note about longer bookings. An evening that includes a restaurant needs the venue named in advance, because dress and timing follow from it and because a table in central Athens at nine in the evening is not something to improvise on a Friday. Athens dines late by northern European standards; a reservation before half past eight will put you in an empty room.
If the booking involves being seen by people who know you, settle the introduction beforehand. A first name and a plausible context is all that is required, and agreeing it in advance means nobody is improvising at a table.
Photographs and honesty about them
Images on profiles are of the person listed and are replaced when appearance changes in a way that would matter to you on arrival. Hair colour and length move most often. Faces are sometimes obscured at the individual’s request, which reflects privacy rather than concealment of anything else.
The failure mode this prevents is the one that defines the classified-advert end of the market: photographs that belong to somebody else entirely, attached to an invented profile, discovered only when a door opens. If that happens on any booking anywhere, the correct response is to end it immediately, before anything begins, and to say why.
Conversation, courtesy and subjects to leave alone
A booking is time spent with a person, and the ordinary rules of company apply. What is worth flagging, because visitors sometimes get it wrong, is that questions about where someone is from in a probing sense, about family circumstances, or about how she came to be in Greece are not small talk. They are personal, and in this particular part of the roster they are frequently more personal than the asker realises.
Nobody will make a scene about it. The evening will simply cool, which is a poor return on the fee. Talk about Athens, about food, about anything at all, and let anything personal be volunteered rather than requested.
Photography
No photographs or recordings during an appointment without explicit prior agreement, which is refused more often than granted. This is the single fastest way to end a booking early, and the fee is not returned when it does.
Seasonality, and what August does to everything
Athens has a pronounced annual rhythm and it works against intuition. Through July and August a meaningful part of the roster relocates to Mykonos for the season, at exactly the point when hotel occupancy in the centre is at its peak. Demand rises and supply falls simultaneously, which is why the second half of August is the hardest fortnight of the year to book anything specific.
September and October are the opposite: the island empties back into the city, the weather is still good, and availability is the best it will be all year. If your timing is flexible, that window gives you the widest choice at the shortest notice.
Winter is quieter overall and heavily weighted towards the centre and the northern suburbs, since the coastal strip loses most of its evening life between November and April.
Incall in a private flat
Where incall is offered it means a private residence, not premises of any kind. The building is ordinary, the arrival is unremarkable, and the schedule is spaced so that visitors do not pass each other on the stairs.
The address is released once the booking is confirmed and never before, and it is not to be passed on to anyone. That rule is absolute for an obvious reason: an address that circulates stops being usable, which ends the arrangement for everybody. You are told the street, the building, the floor and whether there is a lift.
Getting there
Parking in Kolonaki, Exarcheia and the streets around Syntagma after seven in the evening ranges from difficult to impossible. A taxi is faster, cheaper once you account for time, and considerably less conspicuous than circling a block four times.
What the office keeps, and for how long
The information needed to run a booking is a first name, a contactable number, and the practical details of the appointment. Nothing else is asked for. There is no form, no identification requirement on the client side, and no interest in what you do for a living.
Records exist only for scheduling and are not retained beyond usefulness. A request to delete your details is acted on rather than routed somewhere. The office does not confirm to any third party that you are a client, under any circumstances, and does not discuss one client with another.
The reciprocal boundary is worth stating: personal information about anyone on the roster is not available either. Surnames, home addresses, other occupations, none of it is discussed regardless of how many bookings you have made. Both halves of that arrangement are what make it function.
Requests that are declined
Some things are settled and are not a matter of price. Everyone listed sets her own limits and those limits are identical regardless of the figure offered. An attempt to move them by paying more ends the booking rather than opening a negotiation.
Consent inside a booking is continuous rather than purchased in advance, and any appointment can be ended by either party. Requests outside what somebody has agreed to are refused at the point they are made, and making them at the door rather than at the enquiry stage changes nothing except the amount of everybody’s evening that is wasted.

Will she speak English?
Sometimes fluently, sometimes at a basic conversational level. It is listed honestly on each profile and you should confirm it in your enquiry if it matters, particularly for bookings longer than an hour.
